I was so angry when Charissa was telling me about how people get bullied in class.
I am particularly annoyed because more often that not these victims of bullying do not do anything to warrant abuse at all.
And I completely resent the oversimplified, deterministic, egoistic notions that they have about their superiority over others.
Why is it that they need to be reminded of how other people are "human" as well? Even then, it is very sad that we need to be persistently reminded of their humanity, no?
Or have their swollen egos made them rise so high that they think themselves God? And if not, what place do they see fit to accord their pompous selves?
So what if you are better at math, science, history, geography?
You completely fail when it comes to character. Which is ironic.
We don't need more "clever" people in the world as much as we need humane, caring souls.
And if you think 'lowly' people exist for your moral and social edification, that's both laughable and pathetic. Just because you inherently start to believe you are superior, does not necessarily mean you are.
Lastly, at least have the courtesy to say "thank you" when people help you run errands... Don't be an ingrate.
And it is not cool to treat others like dogs. You don't look suave and not only do you demean yourself, you demean the whole human race. People take great offence when you behave as such.
you're really nothing special. So don't act out your mistaken grandeur on those who lack the power and the guts to refute you.
