Seriously.

I was so angry when Charissa was telling me about how people get bullied in class.

I am particularly annoyed because more often that not these victims of bullying do not do anything to warrant abuse at all.
And I completely resent the oversimplified, deterministic, egoistic notions that they have about their superiority over others.

Why is it that they need to be reminded of how other people are "human" as well? Even then, it is very sad that we need to be persistently reminded of their humanity, no?

Or have their swollen egos made them rise so high that they think themselves God? And if not, what place do they see fit to accord their pompous selves?

So what if you are better at math, science, history, geography?
You completely fail when it comes to character. Which is ironic.
We don't need more "clever" people in the world as much as we need humane, caring souls.

And if you think 'lowly' people exist for your moral and social edification, that's both laughable and pathetic. Just because you inherently start to believe you are superior, does not necessarily mean you are.

Lastly, at least have the courtesy to say "thank you" when people help you run errands... Don't be an ingrate.
And it is not cool to treat others like dogs. You don't look suave and not only do you demean yourself, you demean the whole human race. People take great offence when you behave as such.
you're really nothing special. So don't act out your mistaken grandeur on those who lack the power and the guts to refute you.

So says the coward

I think it's good to be alone and contemplate your own life. To recall and savour the happy moments & even relive occasions that provoked bitterness.

Sometimes there is something about sorrow that is inexplicably beautiful...?
& then there is something else about waiting futilely for things that will never materialize to happen that makes life all the more worthwhile(to some degree).

Anyway thank God, for giving me a place to find solace in during the tumultuous times of life. I know I will/can never ever be so heavy hearted again.

We won't be kids anymore

We got our prelim timetable today, and prelims last from 12 August until 24 September. And we will have no more lessons, we'll just go to the hall, take exam, and go home straight. Then we'll come back to school for one last week, check our papers and attend graduation ceremony and then, we won't be kids anymore.

:(

I really wanted to cry today when I got the timetable.
It is just this sudden realisation that your life will not be the same anymore in a matter of weeks.

I will miss so many things, so many teachers and I will miss a lot of people. I will miss Band, and I will miss my juniors(and I saw them playing happily in the band store today and I wanted to hug them) and I will even miss sitting in The Pink Stomach having lessons with my class on the extremely noisy sec three level. I will miss sitting by the window and watching people go by to past time during class, or eating and playing with Claudia and Shuwen and Suen. And I will miss going for lunch and eating yogurt with Charissa. Or going for cell in school. I will miss PE!!

My class is so cool.

And I even remember sec one with Ben Lim as if it were only yesterday. And I also remember our calligraphy class, hahaha. And lessons with Lee Fong King when Cheryl and I used to be so naughty and when we stayed back in school until 6 everyday just to play.
I will miss lit lessons, english lessons, and math with Mrs Yip who is so so cute.

:(

I wish I could just stay in school forever and that I don't have to grow up anymore!
And not that I enjoy mass assemblies, but then how can we graduate missing one whole semester of morning assembly! :(

It is just very amazing how four years of our lives managed to slip away so fast.

Hello Stranger, keep your distance

Hello.

I am really happy today. I thought I was going to be late for school. Getting cab on rainy days is so difficult, and the traffic jam was extremely horrible. I was terribly annoyed until Melo smsed me that it really rained and then I smiled because it was funny and everything became happier!

And I wasn't late in the end~
But I didn't meet Claudia and the rest in the morning, again!
I am always always late. >:(

my ethnic costume was very very baggy. It is like XL and it kept slipping off everywhere and I had to hold my skirt up hahahaha.
But thank you Shuwen Won for lending it to me!

Lol I feel so pek cek.

i want to throw stones at people, like in The Lottery. i'm just kidding of course.

You say the words that I can't say

There is PE tomorrow(ultimate frisbee!) ANDDDD there is NO physics. When there is no physics, everyone is happier.

And I actually found the catalogue which Gramps and Cheryl helped me do. I am so glad heehee.
I have two english essays to complete, physics workbook to do, chem macromolecules worksheet, lit lottery essay, FUHUA A MATH PAPER, physics papers, all by tonight.
And tomorrow is my mom's birthday and I haven't prepared anything.
I feel completely miserable now.

A Dream

180709
I had a dream last night. Really weird one.
I dreamt that so-and-so proposed to me and then we started to become closer (because we were having some camp) but everyone thought he was pestering me. Then on the way back to wherever we were going, in the bus, the person he sat next to suddenly started to bash him up for me or something like that. And then I was so mad. I shouted and screamed and the person still continued. Then I totally lost it and grabbed the guy by his pants and scolded him "bastard" and finally after a while he stopped.
And then so-and-so stopped liking me because I used the word "bastard".
Hahahahahaha. I'm weird.
A while ago(like maybe in june?), I dreamt of a school camp of some sort. We were all there. I was with Cheryl and we were in our PE attire getting ready to go to bed in this hall, which looked very old-schoolish. Then I got thirsty and cheryl and I went to refill water. And then I saw this person, and as usual I felt uncomfortable in my own skin and I started to pretend, again. Pretend to be happy, pretend to be okay, pretend to be nonchalant. And his eyes were fixed on me throughout. Unbearable, but I liked the feeling somewhat. It's gross, i know. The sudden explosion of euphoria.
How come reality can even eat in to dreams, but dreams can never become real?

Also, for literature the 'content' just makes perfect sense and it stays in my mind and jostles into place nicely when i need them for an essay, but for history it's like big clunky blocks jumbled up in my brain. Help me Jesus.

Weird

Omg. angriness. people who have my number/email don't circulate it. enough of strange guys chatting me up.

I woke up so early today and I did so much work.
I always do myself proud HAHAHAHAHA

"1801. - I have just returned from a visit to my landlord - the solitary neighbour that I shall be troubled with. This is certainly a beautiful country! In all England, I do not believe that I could have fixed on a situation so completely removed from the stir of society. A perfect misanthropist's heaven: and Mr. Heathcliff and I are such a suitable pair to divide the desolation between us. A capital fellow! He little imagined how my heart warmed towards him when I beheld his black eyes withdraw so suspiciously under their brows, as I rode up, and when his fingers sheltered themselves, with a jealous resolution, still further in his waistcoat, as I announced my name. "

Emily Bronte is really genius. I wish I could write like that. :(
I haven't read the other Bronte sisters' classics, but I cannot wait to now.
I wish my dad forced me too to read all the classics in primary school.
I feel so ashamed to say it, but in P5 I was still reading unimpressionable stories and what, Harry Potter?

I spend too much time here.

Fridays<3333

Today Dyan asked me why I am always happy/smiling, again.
i feel like when you are unhappy it puts everyone around you in a spot.
Besides, it is completely useless and troublesome to show your unhappiness.

Anyway Ms Haiza promised each of us food tomorrow HEHE.

I love Fridays so much!

Go figure.

I don't I think(?).
But I'm still not used to it.

I finished my revision for org chem and I did my short story and math revs.
&, I HAVEN'T WRITTEN MY TESTIMONIAL.
Actually I tried to write it today, but then it was so hyperbolic that it ended up sounding sarcastic.
