omg OBS was really indescribable.
From Fuhua, we had Shiyuan, Xianqin, Luqhman, Sumei and I,
From Clementi Town, we had Vanessa, Andrew, Joseph, Minhtet & Ruibing,
From Gan Eng Seng, we had Jiansheng, Edward, Jacquelyn, Jereme & Chinhock,
And lastly, there was our instructor Andy.
Day 1 group photos!
Day 1 wasn't really exciting because it was mostly admin work. And I was actually a little annoyed with Mr Chan who lied to us that we'd be staying in bungalows with buffets for every meal...
Still we had fun the next few days.
We attempted a very high flying fox, had a super fun jetty jump, did capsizing drills, got wet and smelly and didn't bathe, made friends with Columbus, and formed Chengbus.
Then we had our sea expedition, which was completely draining but fun.
Luqhman fell sick, and left Dodo and I to paddle his dead weight for 8+ hours!
Plus, we got lost for a while in the mangrove swamp, and over there we were poked by three branches and we saw weird stuff and insects. :(
Still, land ex was far more tiring!
we had to carry 10kg of stuff on our aching backs, and we trekked through half of Pulau Ubin.
Hehe, if not for all the positive notes and encouragement from the Chenghooligans, I don't think we'll ever have made it.
The guys were really nice.
they carried all the heavy stuff like tents, and were always the ones doing all the manual work.
we were rewarded by Andy with a nice, warm apple crumble on our last dinner! :)
